Shopr respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Shopr Privacy Policy applies to your use of askshopr.com, https://about.askshopr.com ,the Shopr latform and any other websites, applications or services operated by ShoprLive Inc. Given the social nature of some of the Shopr Service that information may be collected, used, or disclosed by others who are part of that social interaction, we encourage you to be mindful of this when considering your activity on the ShoprServices Note that the capitalized words and phrases in this Policy have the same meaning as in Shopr Terms of Use. Please note that your use of our service is also subject to our Terms of Use.
Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data). We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you as follows:
User-provided information. We collect information you provide to us, for example when you create or modify your account, upload and or view content on our Platform or otherwise use the features and functionality of the Shopr Service. You may provide a variety of information about yourself to us, such as, but not limited to, your first name, last name, email address, username, password, date of birth, voice or image, telephone number, credit card or debit card number (solely for payment purposes through a third party). We also collect information you provide to us when you request information from us, contact customer support, or otherwise communicate with us.
Automatically Collected Information. When you access the Shopr Service or open one of our emails, we automatically record and store certain information about your system by using cookies and other types of technologies. We collect usage data which includes information about how you use our Platform and services. Examples of such information we automatically collect include Internet Protocol address (“IP Address”), a unique user ID, device and browser types and identifiers, referring and exit page addresses, software and system type, and information about your usage of the Shopr Service. Examples of how Shopr uses automatically collected information include to: (a) automatically update the Shopr application on your system; (b) remember your information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you access the Shopr Service; (c) provide customized advertisements, content, and information; (d) monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns; (e) monitor and store aggregate site usage metrics such as total number of visitors and pages accessed.
Interaction provided-information. Shopr is a social Platform that will connect you with other users of the Platform through content you may post on the Platform or voluntary interaction you may trigger by either calling another user (through video, audio call or messages) or by accepting incoming call or messages from other users of the Platform. Users are entirely responsible for their collection, use, disclosure, retention, destruction and protection of information they collect during interactions either verbally or in texts, including information that you have entered to the Shopr Platform (like for instance, but not limited to, your profile information). Users you interact with, may use information to provide you with the best service and recommendations while doing so in respect of the terms and privacy of the Platform. We encourage you to be mindful of this when considering your activity and interaction on Shopr.
Shopr uses such information to operate, maintain, enhance, provide, create, and develop all of the features, functionality, and services (new or existing) found on the Shopr Service. We may use information to help us create, develop, evaluate and improve our Platform, services and content. We use information to provide security for our websites, products, software, applications, improve users’ experience with Shopr by providing content recommendations and by delivering content that we hope users will find relevant and interesting, including advertising and marketing messages; allow you to comment on content, and participate in online chat; prevent fraud and abuse; and understand the usage trends of our users. We use your email address and/or telephone number to communicate with you, including to notify you of major Shopr Service updates, for customer service purposes, or to contact you regarding any content that you have posted on Shopr or call inquiry from users. If you want to stop receiving notifications by telephone, adjust your preferences under my account/settings/notifications directly on the Platform. Shopr may periodically send promotional materials or notifications to you related to the Shopr Service. If you want to stop receiving promotional materials follow the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of any email from us. For clarity, service announcements including updates to our policies, Terms of Use and software are Essential Communications not subject to an opt-out.
Shopr may share your personal information with third parties for the purpose of, but not limited to, web hosting, maintenance, and security services; conduct data analysis and create reports; offer certain functionality or assist Shopr in improving the Shopr Service. We require that these parties process such information in compliance with this Privacy Notice, we authorize them to use the information only for the purposes for which it is provided to them, and we require them to use reasonable confidentiality measures. To help constantly improve and tailor the service we provide to you through our Platform, we may use aggregated information so that we can administer and improve our services, analyze trends, gather broad demographic information and detect suspicious or fraudulent transactions and most importantly monitor and improve our operations on a day to day basis. In carrying out this activity, we may pass some information to third parties in aggregate and anonymized format. Shopr may disclose user information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable laws around the world (for example, in the country of your residence), or respond to a court order, judicial or other government request, subpoena, or warrant in the manner legally required. Shopr also reserves the right to disclose information that we believe, in good faith, is appropriate or necessary to protect Shopr from potential liability or from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful uses; investigate and defend ourselves against third-party claims, or allegations; protect the security or integrity of the Shopr Service; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Shopr, our users, or others.

Shopr Service is intended for use by individuals 18 years of age or older. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 18, we will promptly delete that information. Information collected by Shopr may be stored and processed in your region, in the United States (for instance in our major data centers), or in any other country where Shopr or its affiliates, subsidiaries, partners, or service providers are located or maintain facilities. If we provide any information about you to any such entities, we will take appropriate measures to ensure such companies protect your information adequately in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable law.
The Shopr Service may link to third-party websites or services. The privacy practices of those third parties are not governed by this Privacy policy. Clicking on links to third party websites, content or applications may allow those third parties to collect or share data about you. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party websites and services to understand their practices. The provision of these links is not an endorsement of or referral to the linked websites. We provide the links solely for your convenience.
In the event that Shopr, or some or all assets related to the Shopr Service are acquired by or merged with a third-party entity or in connection with a contemplated change-of-ownership transaction, we reserve the right, in any of these circumstances, to transfer or assign the information that we have collected from users as part of that merger, acquisition, sale, or other change-of-control event, including in the course of diligence.
Shopr reserves the right to change, modify, add, or remove portions of the at any time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your consent in accordance with applicable law. Your continued use of the Shopr Service after the posting of changes constitutes your binding acceptance of such changes.
We have put in place appropriate security measures to protect and prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. Shopr maintains data related to your usage of Shopr Service for as long as it is required in order to fulfill the relevant purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements and as described in this Privacy policy. Once you have asked us to close your account and delete your profile information, we will delete all information that we are not required or permitted to retain by law. We may retain your personal data for a longer period in the event of a complaint or if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation in respect to our relationship with you.
